Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is the latest big skincare trend!

It’s a form of exfoliation using a surgical blade to remove dulling dead skin and vellus hair (peach fuzz)

Sounds scary right!? But in the right hands dermaplaning is a gentle treatment – so gentle there is no downtime!

It originated in the entertainment industry, where celebrities wanted to remove the peach fuzz that was showing up on HD cameras – it also provided a flawless canvas for makeup to glide over smoothly. It can also be used to help prepare skin for chemical peels or microneedling sessions.

Contrary to popular belief, the removed hair does not grow back thicker – it will return to its pre dermaplaned state.

  • Instant glow!
  • Smoother, brighter complexion
  • Enhanced penetration of skincare

After a deep cleanse a surgical blade is moved back and forth across the skin at a 45® angle to mechanically remove dead skin cells and vellus hair, to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

An enzyme peel is then used over the skin to remove any remaining dead skin cells and a hydrating mask applied. Serums are then used to target your specific skin concerns.

The facial then ends with a session of LED light therapy.

And voila! – you’re ready for anything!

No! It is so gentle it leaves you glowing and red carpet ready.

Dermaplaning can be performed every 4 weeks.
